• Magician shows spectators both hands
• Stand at a profile angle to the spectators
• The hand that is furthest from the audience will be facing palm out
• The remaining hand will come together on top of the back hand and make a grabbing motion as if it were grabbing the index finger
• While the hands are together, the back hand will slide the index finger behind the remaining fingers in a fashion so that it is out of sight to the spectators
• Bring the front hand back to make it seem as though you are putting the index finger back
• While the hands are together, slide the index finger back out from behind the other fingers
• Show hands to spectators
