Learn How To Pull Aces From Your Pocket Magic Trick

Learning a few preparation based tricks is the first step you should take in advancing your magic skills. While sometimes the trick may not seem as difficult as the others that you have encountered, the real trick will be in keeping your audience from becoming skeptical of how you pulled off the illusion. This is the perfect trick for you to practice with, as you’ll surely be able to master it in no time.

Effect:

After allowing your participant to shuffle and cut your deck you will open up your coat and ask them to place the entire deck into your inside coat pocket. Once you’ve closed your coat, you will ask your participant to call out a number between one and ten. Reaching inside your jacket pocket, you will remove that many cards and place them face down on the table. Then you will remove one additional card from the deck and place it face down by itself. After repeating the process of asking a number from one to ten all the way to removing the next card from your pocket three time, you will have a stack of removed cards in a pile and four individual cards face down on the table. Now you will turn over all four individual cards, revealing to your participant and audience that you have managed to pull out four aces.

Materials Required:

To perform this trick you will need a jacket with an inner pocket and one complete deck of cards.

Preparing For The Trick:

Before you begin the trick, remove the four aces from the deck of cards you will be using and place them into your jacket pocket with them facing towards your body.

What’s The Secret?:

After having your participant shuffle the deck of cards, open your jacket, revealing your pocket to your participant and ask them to place it in. By putting your hand into the pocket to open it up for them to place the deck of cards into, you’ve managed to cover up the aces and make it easier for your participant to place the deck inside the pocket.

Once your participant has told you the number between one and ten that they have chosen, remove that many cards from the top of the deck. With the desired number of cards removed, pull out one of the aces and place it independent ally on the table. Continue this process three more times to remove all four aces from the bottom of the deck.

To your participants amazement, you have now managed to pull out four aces from a deck within your pocket just by having them choose random amounts of cards for you to withdraw.
