Riffle Shuffle - How To Shuffle Cards

Learn How To Riffle Shuffle

• Start the process by holding the deck of cards in your dominant hand. Your thumbs should be facing up and the cards should be gripped between your thumb and middle finger.
• Pressing down on the top of the deck with your thumb, you should support the center of the deck with the first knuckle of your pointer finger. Gently release half of the deck a few cards at a time into your other hand.
• With half of the deck in each hand, you’ll want to mimic the grasp from the first step with the faces of the cards facing each other.
• Press down with both thumbs to build pressure again and steadily release the cards in a riffling fashion together, shuffling them.
• Once both hands are empty, push the two combined piles together as one.
