How To Leaf Cards Together

Leafing The Cards together is one of the simplest ways to shuffle a deck of cards. It provides a fair deal of randomness and doesn’t require you to have a significant amount of skill when it comes to shuffling cards.

• Start out with the deck in front of you face down on the table. The long side should be point towards your body.
• Pull half the deck out to the right with your right hand, and half out with your left hand. Pull the halfs towards their respective sides.
• Angle the two packs so that the corners near your thumbs but away from your body are touching.
• Hold each pack with your middle and ring fingers on the outsides, index finger putting pressure in the middle, and thumb flipping through them where they meet.
• Flip through with your thumbs, leafing the cards together.
• Push the cards together.
• Repeat.
